Rimar Villaseñor

I’m a designer building products that help people understand the world around them.

As a Staff Product Designer at The New York Times, I built and shipped NYT Audio—the paper’s destination for audio storytelling. I also work across the Times’ app and site collaborating with engineers, art directors and the newsroom to experiment with new ways of engaging with readers and listeners. Previously, I was a designer at ustwo and Method, working across a range of verticals from wearables to media.

Outside of design, I’m an artist practicing in both film and sound. I have scored runway shows, composed soundtracks for films, and have shot and filmed my own experimental shorts.
